Chunkrete is a new composite that replaces the stone aggregate of concrete with wood chunks. Multiple larger cracks in concrete indicate a major subbase problem. One or two large cracks can be repaired to extend the life of a concrete structure, but several larger cracks in a confined area will greatly weaken the structure and repairs will be largely ineffective.
